What do we believe?

At the Gospel Hall, all our beliefs rest upon the inspired Word of God. We believe that the Bible is infallible and is the only revelation from God, who exists in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Therefore we accept the Bible as the final authority for every area of our lives. 2 Timothy 3v16-17

What do we believe about Jesus Christ?

We believe that

Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. 2 Peter 1v1, 1 Peter 1v20
He became flesh and was born of a virgin. Luke 1v30-35
Jesus Christ died for sinners. 1 Corinthians 15v3
God raised Him from the dead. 1 Peter 1v21
He ascended into heaven and that God has highly exalted Him. 1 Peter 3v22
He will soon return. John 14v3
The Lord Jesus will reign over the earth. 1 Corinthians 15v25
He will judge the world. Acts 17v31

What do we believe about salvation?

The total sinfulness of mankind. Romans 3v23
The inability of man to save himself. Ephesians 2v8-9
That Christ bore the judgement of sin for the sinner on the cross. 1 Peter 3v18
That man must repent of sin and place faith in Christ. Acts 17v30, Acts 16v31
That salvation is eternal. John 3v16, John 10v28

What do we do?

Baptize all those who believe on the Lord Jesus. Acts 2v41
Observe weekly the Lord's Supper. Acts 2v42
Teach the Word of God. Acts 11v26
Make the Gospel known. Mark 16v15
Meet for prayer. Acts 12v5
